
Prof. José M. Carretero-Gómez

I am Associate Professor of management at the University of the Balearic Islands, Palma (Mallorca), Spain, where I teach Human Resource Management, Social Corporate Responsibility and Integrated Management Systems for Excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate programs. I got my B.A. in Economics Sciences by the University of Chile in 1996. After this, I received my Ph.D. in Business Economics and Quantitative Methods from the Carlos III University of Madrid in 2003. I was Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Arizona State University, Tempe, USA, in 2005-2006.

My research interests include evaluation of the economic impact of HRM interventions, Utility Analyses acceptance, diffusion of innovative HRM practices, health and safety at work and integrated management systems. My work has been published in journals and books with doubled blind peer review process including Journal of Safety Research, Safety Science, Journal of Business and Psychology, Revista de la Cosntrucción, Management Research and Cuadernos Económicos del ICE or Encyclopedia of Human Resources Information Systems: Challenges in e-HRM.
